TAI CHI anyone? What is Tai Chi? Come to the next Arthritis Introspective (AI) support group meeting Saturday, October 8th and meet Heather Chalon, Teacher and Senior Trainer, who will explain the benefits of practicing Tai Chi to improve balance, muscle strength, and “trip recovery”. September is Fall Prevention Month! Heather will demonstrate some basic Tai Chi movements and allow us to “play” with her and give Tai Chi a try!
The Arthritis Foundation recommends Tai Chi as a safe form of exercise for people with all types of arthritis. You can also practice Tai Chi sitting in a chair!!! SO don’t miss this interactive session! Please wear loose, comfortable clothing and flat shoes.
